Campbell Law Supporting SaveOneSoldier.org
Campbell Law attorneys and staff have spearheaded formation of SaveOneSoldier.org. SaveOneSoldier.org is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization that is raising money to pay for the private legal defense of active duty soldiers.
Soldiers suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder from service in our current war zones are returning with PTSD in unprecedented numbers and are discouraged from getting diagnosis and treatment for PTSD. Many returning veterans engage in high-risk behaviors (dare-devil actions, excessive drinking, etc.) and are not diagnosed until they act out in a way that gets the military justice system involved. Where a diagnosis of PTSD is involved and the veteran has not committed a violent offense or destroyed valuables of another person, it is often better for the military, the soldier and the public to discharge the vet to the VA.
Prosecution by the military leads to dishonorable discharge and a loss of benefits which, in turn, leads to dumping a trained killer onto the streets with no resources for mental health treatment. We invite you to visit www.saveonesoldier.org to see how you can help these deserving soldiers who have sacrificed there sanity for us.
